Lofoten Værøy Brygge - Roessnesvaag

New ownership (so ignore the old rating) and wonderfully brilliant chef and wait staff. My first dining experience was so good I rearranged my plans to return to Væroy for a second day so I could come back for dinner again. Highly recommend this luxurious dining restaurant. I can’t decide if the views or the food were better, but regardless they both were superb!

Incredibly poor service. There was no control over who should receive what. Despite everything being pre-ordered, we still had to wait for over an hour for our food. When the food finally started arriving, not everyone got their order, and most received the wrong dishes. Many were done eating before everyone even got their food. When we tried to address the issue and express our disappointment, considering the high prices we paid for the meals, the manager responded by engaging in a loud and threatening argument. This individual should never be allowed to run a restaurant, and I genuinely feel sorry for the staff.

I normally don 't do reviews, but an exception for this place. Stayed here after a few windy days with a tent on this beautiful island. Very good food, friendly people. After sleeping in, waiting for the ferry, the chef offered to make breakfast/lunch. A 'carbonarish ' pasta with a glas of prosecco. Probably the best and only way a carbonara should be made. Good food, expensive as hell. Takes 400nok for one night in boat whit no electricity, it's a robbery so don't come here in boat. Noteworthy details: EXPENSIVE. Rooms: 3 Service: 3 Location: 1
