Pepe's Mexican Restaurants

Update to my review restaurant is much better now. I was immediately greeted and sat with friendly staff. They offer a great everything you can eat. I think it's under new management or property. Also there is a certain server that has been there for years, he is the best, very friendly promptly nice guy. I would definitely recommend this restaurant. Beautiful friendly dimming lighting warm atmosphere. My previous review was... Something changes in this restaurant. I've been there for years, but now it feels like the quality has fallen as well as the portion sizes. I was served like a spoon of rice that was spun on the plate to look more similar to the beans. The chips were cold, they warmed them to hot and crispy. The last couple of times I had eaten there, it was the same. So sad to see that this restaurant loses quality and its customers. I don't think I'm back. Try yourself, especially if you've been there, but don't say I didn't warn you.

We were referred by a friend, and are picky about our Mexican meals, with that said. Absolutely loved this place. 1 of the last Pepe's around, it was like having a feast in my Grandmother's kitchen back in the day. Truly authentic flavors, and tender steak. Prepared multiple ways to perfection. Great specials. A friendly patient and knowledgeable staff. And a clean establishment on top of everything else. I Can't wait to return. Yours truly O~so Blanco

I am thrilled with the new lunch buffet! I have been a loyal customer at this restaurant for over 30 years, but in recent years, I noticed a decline in quality. However, after hearing that new owners had taken over, I decided to give it another try for lunch a few days ago. I was pleasantly surprised by the variety of items and the high quality of the food on the buffet. I am returning today and Pepe's has reclaimed its place at the top of my list for lunchtime dining.

My wife and I were the first ones to try the new buffet and we were thoroughly impressed. The food was delicious and the service was excellent.

This restaurant recently changed ownership a few months ago. It used to be one of my favorite Mexican restaurants, so I was curious to see how it would turn out. I think it's just as good now, if not better. The restaurant is clean and well-kept, the food is delicious, they serve alcoholic drinks, and the service is friendly and professional. Currently, there is no indoor dining due to the pandemic, but they have a lovely outdoor seating area. I would recommend this restaurant.
