Tora Sushi - Rom

Aside from a great owner and the sweetest server the food here was incredible!! Its my first time in Rome but I have been an Italy for a week and was really craving some asian food- got to Rome and what do you know, found this spot. We were immediately seated by the owner himself who was extremely personable. I didn't know what to expect from asian food in Italy but I gave it a try and was thoroughly impressed. Their Ramen was 10/10 and so were the dumplings. I was with a few people and got a chance to try a few things from the menu- none in which disappointed me :

Good selection of food on the menu. Apart from Japanese, also has some Thai variety. Friendly staff. Good interior atmosphere. Sashimi cut is unusually bigger/thicker than other places. Food service from the waiter Donny was the best I have had since my time in Rome, very polite and attentive something that has been very poor from a lot of places in Rome The food is by far the best Japanese I’ve had in a long time if you want to escape the high carb low protein options, I highly recommend Tora, the quality of food is among the best The teriyaki salmon just melted in your mouth Shrimp gyoza was so good I didn’t want it to end Explosion sushi roll is unreal, one of the best dishes on the menu I can’t recommend this place enough Thank you to Donny, Max and the team for their amazing and friendly service Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: €20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Assorted Sashimi, Rolls
