Chapter Roma

I made a reservation for 4 people at the roof top ‘Hey Guey’ restaurant in August to visit on Thursday 28th September for dinner and drinks at 6pm. I booked far in advance to avoid disappointment as I am visiting from the UK to watch my son partake in the Ryder Cup. Being such a big event, and how busy we will be running up to the event I wanted to make all my dinner reservations in advance to avoid any disappointment. However, I received an email today (26th September) to say that the venue has been booked out for a corporate event so therefore my reservation has been cancelled. Not only am I extremely disappointed in the short notice of cancellation, I also find it hard to believe a corporate event would be booked so late. I have now had added stress to my already stressful week having to find another reservation which has been greatly difficult. Thankfully, the Marco Martini restaurant has scheduled me in that evening. I would not recommend, very unprofessional.
