Írjon visszajelzéstEvery thing we purchased is excellent. We purchased quite a bit and are going back for pies ordered. The only reason we had to order pies is because the customer before my husband purchased every single pie to take home to Virginia. Totally understandable. And we are happy to go back I am plotting what else we could try that we have not already.
We went there and had a late lunch. They have multiple stations set up from salads to 6 different soups .A cold selection or two, multiple hot places and a carving station that offered 3 different meats. They also had a dessert station to close out your meal.
I 've been coming to Miller 's about once a year for years. I 've recommended it to friends and family and even taken coworkers on work trips. Short staffing due to the pandemic is perfectly understandable at Miller 's and all restaurants. And I 'm perfectly happy to wait to be seated or wait for my food...when they tell you the truth. Today was the first time they 've lied to me about the wait time at Miller 's. I checked in and they told me it would be a 30 minute wait max because I was too early for my reservation. That 's fine. After 45 minutes, they said, You 're at the top of the reservation list . After 65 minutes, they said We 've got a bunch of buses coming in so we don 't know when we can seat you. Mind you this was now 3:15 PM. When I asked them to just to give me a ballpark time because I had 3 elderly grandparents and a young child who were starving, they wouldn 't give me a time. I said, Could it be an hour more wait? They said, It could be. Which is the most INSANE THING EVER since you told me an hour earlier that it would be a 30 minute wait max. So this would potentially be a TWO HOUR WAIT. When I broke the news to my cousin, she declared we should just go to McDonald 's or Panera 's. We went to Panera 's and had an amazing meal (the autumn squash soup was DELISH) and our food was ready 10 minutes after we ordered it. (A lady who had been waiting in the Miller 's lobby longer than us glared at her husband when my cousin suggested we head to McDonald 's a this wait is so not worth it kind of a glare). So if you are an individual family DON 'T go to Miller 's on a weekend they prioritize buses. And even then an entire church group waited about 20 minutes to be seated. Another tour bus group rolled in as we left in frustration. If you are an individual family or couple without a reservation don 't even bother turning up. You 'll never eat. Every individual couple or family that strolled in was told a 1 hour to 1.15 minute wait and this was at 2:00 in the afternoon. That time is clearly a lie. Tell people 90 minutes 2 hours. Then let them make the decision. Don 't lie. Don 't tell people that you also have walk in availability if you 're willing to wait up to an hour. Because that 's a lie. Not when you 've devoted so much of your dining room to tour buses.
A 1st class operation!!! food is HOT, TASTY! and PLENTIFUL!! Easy to get around, and a HUGE variety of entrees. I have been to many 4–5-star restaurants and many entrees would compete easily. There is a limit on the amount of time you are seated because of the large demand of customers but I was able to over stuff myself anyway............... I have been to 5smorgabords in Lancaster and this is ABSOLUTELY the best!
The selection was fair at best. The food was quality but nothing special. After having eaten elsewhere I was disappointed with the offerings. We were directed to the smorsboard and never asked if we would prefer to order from the menu. They do have clean restrooms and a nice gift shop.
