The Skillet - Rosamond

So for the last 3 weeks, we have tried to come and eat here. They are closed. Does anyone know what's going on? The food, service and atmosphere were fabulous. I had out of town company and wanted to bring them. Very, very disappointed.

I ate here for the first time this past weekend! I use to come to Guidos when it was here tho! Even tho the menu is somewhat limited, they do have some nice choices! I chose the hamburger combo! I can't remember what they called it but the hamburger was excellent, cooked perfectly and the meat was nice and juicy! I got a salad with my burger and the salad was great! Always have liked the Italian salad dressing guidos served and am glad it's the same! The staff was friendly and attentive! I will definitely be back soon! Had lunch here the other day again and had a burger again, and salad! Still as good as the first time! My friend had French fries with her burger and they are delicious! Almost like they have a breading on them!! Just awesome! I'll be back! How sad that the Skillet has closed down! My friend and I went there for lunch yesterday and found them gone! We ended up at the wayside cafe (great lunch) and the waitress confirmed the skillet has closed!! What a shame the town didn't support them

Amazing food. Awesome service. Killer esthetic!! Super big portions. We had kids pancakes and we had to take 1/2 of it home.. the French toast was great. The biscuits and gravy was spectacular!!!! We will be going back weekly

Food was made very well, didn't wait long and felt like i was eating in my moms kitchen, fresh baked biscuits and gravy are worth the trip to Rosamond if you are in the Antelope Valley.

I have been wanting to try this place out for awhile but I have been skeptical because of the lack of Yelp reviews. I really depend on my Yelp to pick for me lol. But anyway, I finally took my son here on a Sunday morning and I am quite surprised on how good it was. I ordered the pumpkin pancakes and the loaded egg burrito and both were delicious. My son got eggs and pancakes which isn't really something out of the ordinary for a kids meal but I will say it wasn't just one pancake, it was three smaller pancakes. The waitress was super friendly and accommodating. I will definitely be coming back, but I wanted to make sure I wrote this review so there are more reviews to read from. When you depend on Yelp like I do, you need more reviews on a place to make a decision.
