Írjon visszajelzéstNice pub! Had pork belly tacos with blackberry sriracha sauce and salad. Perfect. Overall menu is pub grub plus. The staff really worked quickly accommodating a large crowd. Nice beer selection and several ciders on tap.
We came in expecting great service and great food, as usual. Our waiter was trying really hard, but there is only one of him. Our order was correct and tasted delicious. I would have told him, had I seen him again... but alas, only in passing. We waited for drinks after our initial starter drinks. We waited and waited. My hubby finally went to the bar and got what he wanted. Grrr. They had a live bass and trumpet for music, and a BIG group of Old99 was overflowing the place. Now I see why o'Tooles carries their crappy beer. Either they are buddys with the buyers of the beer on tap, or they frequent the place often enough to get the buyers who stock the kegs to purchase, carry, and promote their rot gut brew. FOOD WAS SPOT ON!!
This is honestly the very best experience I've had in the Roseburg area- the service is phenomenal and the food is absolutely amazing- every level of their burgers are made with high quality ingredients and you can customize them with anything you'd like- the candies bacon is delicious- the fried jalapeños were amazing too- I tried the southwest egg roll appetizer- not sure what the name of it was but the rolls themselves and the sauce they are served with were so good- they also have Atlas Cider on tap which is my favorite and several drinks that look so tempting to try- if I lived in Roseburg I would definitely be a regular here but as it is it's a must visit when stopping in or passing through
I've been to OToole's 4 Times in 4 years. Each time was mediocre. Nothing special, but ok. I really don't understand all the great reviews. I'm not a very picky eater, but O'Toooles is not all that great. The food: another review here said it best... the burger meat seems dry, unseasoned and overworked. The fries were greasy, cold and small portions. We also ordered the beer cheese soup. Tasted good but arrived luke warm. Service: this last time we were here will be our last. We were promptly seated and greeted. Drinks served. When the waitress took our order, I noticed that she did not write it down. This is all groovy... except when they don't get anything right. We ordered two burgers with fries... no pink on both meats. We requested the BBQ sauce on one burger to be put on the side. We also ordered a beer cheese soup in which she asked if we want it before our meal. We said yes. The burgers came... with a Luke warm soup. The waitress mumbled something about the soup but both of us were not able to understand what she said. One burger was well done and one burger was very pink... medium rare? BBQ sauce was not on the side and was put on the burger. I understand mistakes, but when orders are not written done and they get three things wrong... it is doubly irritating. The waitress fixed the problems. Sorry O'Tooles.... you could be a great place. But to me it's borderline average.
Started out GREAT then turned South quickly. Based on the Yelp reviews, this seemed like a sure bet that it would be fabulous. We were seated quickly and sampled some great beer and cider. Our waitress was fantastic (wish I had her name, she was the only positive part of the visit 3/28/2015 at 2:15 pm). We ordered and were excited for our meal. The table next to us, who arrived after us, were served before us. We hoped we would be next, but we waited 10 more minutes. When our food arrived, everything was overcooked: tater tots were like biting on a jolly rancher, burgers were dry, grilled cheese was overcooked on one side, and my veggie burger was hard as a rock. My husband settled for his burger, I didn't mention the tater tots, but I couldn't eat my veggie burger. We had since been assigned a new waitress, Jen. Inattentive and was more concerned with the bar customers (no, it wasn't slammed). I walk up to the bar and tell her the situation with my veggie burger. She was bothered by my request and did not offer an apology. Please note I DO NOT like to complain at restaurants unless very necessary. My new burger came, cooked just fine. Again, no apology from Jen and she didn't take the crappy burger away. She never came to check on us when we needed more water. We had to go to the bar and pay. My burger was still charged for. My hunch is the cook got distracted. That being said, you still provide customer service. I am confident if our original waitress had not left, we would've had better service. We were on a road trip and went out of our way to visit this restaurant; we won't be back.
