Markos is the go-to bar in the area. They even whip up late-night pizzas, and I'm pretty sure it's DiGiorno, not delivery, which I've definitely enjoyed with some friends on a night out. The bartenders are friendly, the live music is fantastic, and there are fun themed nights. I guess you'll just have to try it for yourself. Thanks, Markos—you're the best!

When she finally asked what we wanted to drink, we placed our orders and requested water as well. Fifteen minutes later, we noticed 3 or 4 locals who had been there longer receiving their drinks. Our drinks finally arrived, but no water was provided. We asked for water again, and she said she would get it, only to go back to chatting with the locals. Our snack was brought out by the cook and placed on the counter; there was no check-in from the bartender, and still no water. At that point, a gentleman came in who had ordered a pizza. As he turned around, he tripped and fell, dropping the boxes. He tried to pick up the pizza that had fallen out, clearly intoxicated, and someone from the bar helped him gather himself. I noticed his elbow was scraped and bleeding, suggesting he had just fallen. Instead of attending to us, the bartender who had taken our order grabbed her tips, poured herself a drink, and sat down to join the locals. Not once did she check if we needed anything else as her shift ended. Eventually, a new bartender arrived, laid out some bar mats, but didn’t acknowledge us either. We had to ask for our tab, after having been there for nearly 90 minutes. We had each ordered only one drink (clearly not expecting a second) and an order of cheese curds. Having worked behind a bar and currently in a tasting room, I understand that customer service can wane when it gets busy. However, in this case, it felt like there was a complete lack of effort to serve customers. I’ll certainly never be returning. I doubt the establishment will care, but I hope this review helps someone else reconsider before choosing to visit.

While the staff were polite, there were a few delays that could have been improved. **Atmosphere: 4/5** The ambiance of the restaurant was quite pleasant. The decor was inviting, and the overall vibe made for an enjoyable dining experience. Overall, it was a good experience, but there's room for improvement in service.

I visited Marko's at 6 PM on a Monday, hoping for a quick meal. I ordered a couple of drinks, a Bacon Cheeseburger for myself, and my partner chose the 2 Piece Fish and Chips. The bartender provided fantastic service, and the drinks were superb. The food was exceptional as well—without a doubt, the best burger in Roslyn! The fish was a generous portion and cooked to perfection. I can't wait to return to this relaxed local spot in the future. Thank you, Marko's, for a wonderful experience!
