It’s a funny takeaway in that unlike most Chinese takeaways there is a huge amount of empty space inside the shop. They only do takeaways although it is big enough for a couple of tables. There is a little counter tucked away in the corner where you place your orders and they normally have a selection of newspapers there to read whilst you wait. Despite us going there for over ten years the person taking the orders never makes any small talk or even seems to recognise us. They efficiently write down the order and then pass it to the kitchen to cook. You don’t have to wait long for the food and we have always enjoyed it.

Ok the shop is small, and is only a takeaway, but the food came quite quickly and was very nice and not particularly expensive.

Half hour late, poor quality, didn’t taste anything as described (zero spice for ‘hot and spicy), sloppy, flavourless

We recently tried a Chinese takeaway near our campsite just outside Battle and it was one of the best we've had in a while. Despite some mixed reviews, we decided to give it a shot and we're so glad we did. The chicken balls were fantastic, with a thin crispy batter and plenty of chicken inside. The chicken in mushroom black bean was delicious, but our favorite was the shredded chilli chicken. The sauce was sweet, sticky, and absolutely delicious. We will definitely be returning next time we stay here.

Had moderate good food here in the past but not this time. The cook and girl at the ordering seem to have changed is it under new ownership? The food was awful and only ate half of one the two spring rolls ordered. Egg foo yung was a joke and unedible. Most of it ended up in the bin apart from our chickens who would not eat the spring rolls either. Never again I am afraid.
