Very disappointing. eating looked nice, but had very little taste. average best after some spectacular meals in France

We arrived and had no table reserved. we have been offered a few tables to choose from. we got the menu. When the waiter realized that we were English, he brought the English menu. they promote slow food starters looked good and were delicious. the net looked good again and was tasty until my partner found a hair in his kartoffels. we brought a champagne as an excuse. we wore with dessert and had a great chocolate fond.

Super friendly staff, great eating and the best dessert souffle (calvados) I've ever had a few.

This place is called « the gas house of st maclou », and what a great gas house that is! the dishes are simple, but truly savory. the kitchen is very well applied and served by well selected products of high quality. the service is friendly and attentive, but...still could be improved. the location is pleasant, the location is ideal (in the old part of rouen near the church st. maclou (here the name).
