I called the restaurant and was informed that it's an issue with the distributor, as they only stretch the dough and don't make it themselves. They offered me a credit, but I'm uncertain about returning anytime soon. I can't dismiss the manager's explanation, especially since the hair was baked into the dough rather than just sitting on top. However, you can see the situation for yourself and make your own judgment.
I called the restaurant to express my frustration about the pizzas I had paid for, and the manager told me that he cooked them and that this is how Pizza Hut pizzas have looked and tasted for years. I could tell he was lying when he mentioned that I was the only order that went through the oven all day—really? I was the only customer at such a late hour? He informed me that I couldn’t get a replacement order or return the pizzas because of the DoorDash pricing policy. This is outrageous! I felt ripped off for spending $70 trying to feed my family for the night. I'm extremely frustrated because it seemed like he was telling me to just accept it.
I want to highlight my experience with Robert, the gentleman working this morning, October 25, 2022. He was outstanding! When I placed my online order, two of my pizzas didn't go through, but Robert quickly took care of it and made my pizzas without any delay. In the meantime, he kept my other food warm while I waited. He was polite and kept me informed throughout the process. His service was a perfect example of exceptional customer care.
Idk if it's just me, but the quality of pizza hut has severly fallen. Today was the last issue I will have with them. I ordered for delivery and wasn't informed even once that Door Dash was delivering my food. I got a text messaging saying they picked up my order. I was not able to leave a tip bc I didn't have any cash on me. The driver said I could leave a tip on the app but couldn't find anything. This is simple information every customer that gets delivery should be informed of. From now on I'm going to Dominos or Papa John's.
Food was delivered cold, was missing an liter for my order, requested extra toppings; got barely any toppings, breadsticks weren't even cut. Couldn't even reach the restaurant over the phone. I highly recommend adding support/refund option for the app. 0/10 warning anyone to avoid it like the plague
