Pepe's - Round Rock

This place has really good fresas con crema, I give that 5 stars. I also really enjoyed the mangonada, it was amazing. However, their corn was not the greatest, to start off they use yellow corn and trechas or tajin for the chile. Made the corn very sour. Maybe if they use white corn and the real mexican corn chile it would be good. Im from the RGV, Im used to the real stuff but this place comes close.

The food is good and the drinks and deserts are awesome but the place is not that clean. Tables are always dirty and so is the floor.

We had an amazing experience at this restaurant. The owner was incredibly welcoming, especially since it was our first visit. He even went out of his way to bring our food to us at the axe-throwing venue where we had reservations. The staff was fantastic, and the food was delicious! We will definitely consider coming back!

We visited specifically for the desserts and ordered a banana split, which was delicious. While we were chatting, the owner came out to introduce himself. He kindly offered to prepare a complimentary entree for us. He made some authentic chicken tacos, complete with homemade taco shells, which were fantastic. It was a lovely gesture, especially since we were celebrating our 19th anniversary and had just experienced a disappointing meal elsewhere. This place has great food, friendly staff, and a warm atmosphere. You’re sure to enjoy it!

I absolutely loved the carnitas and elote! The limonada is made just right—not too sweet, with the perfect balance of water, sugar, and lime. The two friendly ladies were working hard and creating fantastic food. I had a wonderful experience here!
