Sonic Drive-in - Round Rock

I ordered a large chili cheese at 6:15 PM. As I'm writing this review, it's now 6:42 PM and my order still isn't ready. I specifically asked the staff about the wait time since we were in a rush, and she told me it would be a maximum of five minutes. Clearly, the definition of "five minutes" needs to be revised, as I could have done it faster myself. Suffice it to say, I won't be returning here. If you're in a hurry, I recommend looking elsewhere. Eventually, we received our order at 6:55 PM, but they forgot to provide cutlery and napkins.

I waited for 35 minutes, even though the woman at the front said it would only be a 5-minute wait. She took my order 15 minutes after I arrived, and 20 minutes later, my food was still sitting in the kitchen. I'm absolutely starving! I recommend avoiding this place unless you want to waste your valuable time.

If I could give them zero stars, I definitely would. The manager is incredibly rude and acts entitled, showing a complete lack of respect for Sonic's menus. I found myself waiting while trying to figure out why they are the only location in the state with a custom menu. Don’t expect to get what you want, as they pick and choose which ingredients they will or won’t provide. Thankfully, the corporate office is aware of Sonic's reputation and attempts to address these serious issues and poor customer treatment, but their efforts only go so far. It's like dealing with a plague.

I came a few times in the morning to get coffee and breakfast toaster and I always had a very positive experience. The food is hot, delicious and delivered quickly! Staff are always super friendly. Food: 5/5

Do NOT come here. Your order is hardly ever correct and I have been waiting (this time) for 30 mins for a grilled cheese and tots. You can't even get them to respond to the call button. I have no idea why I keep giving this place chances.
