Bucharest Grill - Royal Oak

The food and portion sizes are great, but they consistently forget the dressing for salads and make other order mistakes.

The food is decent. I always double-check my order before leaving to ensure it's correct. I'm not certain if I will come back to this location.

I received cold fries with my meal. I requested fresh fries, but they gave me the same cold ones again.

I always enjoy visiting this place! The food is consistently excellent. However, I was a bit disappointed during my visit last night. My brother usually orders the catering salad for $25, and when I got the same salad, it seemed smaller than usual. This might have been due to it being a Saturday night, and they were out of chicken, but I'm not entirely sure. Regardless, I will definitely continue to go there and highly recommend it!

I visited this restaurant today and ordered their famous chicken shawarma. I decided to stop by the Royal Oak Woodward location because I have had such great experiences at their Detroit location in the past. Unfortunately, the Royal Oak location was nothing like the one in Detroit. The chicken was completely charred and inedible; I ended up throwing half of it away. I've attached my receipt for reference. I'm quite surprised that they are not taking better care of their meats and serving burnt food to their customers. I really hope the owners can make some improvements.
