Sonic Drive-in - Royersford

Years ago, we visited this restaurant but never returned. During our visit, my daughter found a big bug in her burger. Since then, she checks every sandwich she orders to ensure there are no bugs inside, all because of this incident. This review is long overdue!

The milkshakes at this restaurant are terrible. They are too thick, taking an hour and a half to drink one. It seems like they just throw ice cream in a cup. The strawberry shake is even worse, with chunks that are too big to fit through the straw. Overall, the experience was awful. The price per person ranges from $20 to $30. The food receives a rating of 1, the service a rating of 5, and the atmosphere a rating of 3.

After going to a different location and being told drinks were not available, we decided to drive the extra 10 mins to this location.. Was trying to order from the car hop side.. a girl came on the speaker after waiting for a little (which we were fine with) and told us “you’ll get much faster service if you go thru the drive thru.” Wouldn’t let us respond and just said “thanks” if I could give a negative review for her attitude I would. Oreo cheesecake milkshake is amazing!! The corn dog, chili tater tots, hot dogs, and other milkshakes were good. Onion rings didn’t have flavor though. I’ve been here at least twenty times in the last two years and every single time the food is fresh and hot! All the employees are also sweet! Came by today to try the new chicken buffalo bites and they are amazing 10/10! Good food! Service: Take out Meal type: Dinner
