Log Cabin - Ruidoso

We had a disappointing experience at the restaurant. The omelet we ordered was wrong, and so was the second one. When we brought this to our server's attention, she argued with us. We know what feta cheese looks like, and there was definitely none in that omelet. The server should have brought over the manager. I wanted to speak to the manager myself, but my wife preferred to avoid the hassle. If the server had been more understanding, we might have felt more comfortable addressing the issue right there. Overall, it felt like a tourist trap.

The chicken fried steak and biscuits with gravy are fantastic! The portions are enormous! It's a good idea to share a plate, or you might end up in a food coma!

The Log Cabin is our favorite spot for breakfast and lunch in Ruidoso! We’ve been dining there for over 20 years and have consistently enjoyed the delicious food, welcoming atmosphere, and friendly staff.

I had an amazing experience at Log Cabin! Shauna was an incredible waitress with such great energy that made the meal even more enjoyable. The food was fantastic – the #7 and Belgian waffle were absolutely to die for. Highly recommend this place for both the great service and delicious food!

It's got a family owned, non corporate feel, like that diner on the square that was shut down by McD coming to town. The food was plentiful, inexpensive, and absolutely delicious. For just a little more than a chain restaurant, you can fuel up for a busy day.
