El Palenque - Rupert

I've lived in Burley/Rupert area almost all of my life and I can honestly say that this restaurant is AWESOME DELICIOUS. We will definitely be returning. Prices are decent. Portions were decent also. The waitress was super friendly. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Very friendly atmosphere the staff is super friendly. Everything we ordered was amazing.

This place is delicious by all means but the only thing I don't like is that the meals you buy have a little bit of food. I ordered some camarones a la Diabla and it only had 3 shrimp. Big rip off for a meal of almost $15.

This restaurant used to be good, but now the presentation of the food is terrible. They couldn’t even get our order right, and we were the only customers there. It felt like they were more focused on running a daycare than serving food. The prices are outrageous - I paid $12 for a tiny burrito that didn’t even come with rice or beans. It was just a disappointing experience overall. When I mentioned that the meats were incorrect, they just said, “Ohhhh, sorry about that,” without any real concern. The service was lacking, and there were many other issues. In short, it was a truly awful experience.

Delicious food, excellent service—definitely a place worth visiting!
