Third time visiting and yet to have a positive experience.. Went with friends as they wished to go I cant understand why its rated so highly.. Cold food although restaurant not busy. Staff not helpful .. Bill at end wrong. Lovely cup of apple tea at end but couldn't wait to get out. Dietary restrictions: Menu is not set out clear enough..A Friend ordered chicken but was told after asking if was lamb that the chicken was cooked in lamb fat and she should know that! Right from the start there was a rudeness from the owner/manager suggesting we weren’t being clear enough with what dishes we wanted. A main arrived instead of a starter and then after quite some time the mains arrived and most were cold. One of our group was given incorrect information about her dish meaning she had to have a different meal which was served up after everyone else had finished theirs. She was also told she had been fully informed at the beginning about the dish which she wasn’t. The main waiter seemed to be a young boy and we had to ask the staff twice for a jug of water. We asked for the bill several times and when it was incorrect there was no apology, instead we felt like we were a nuisance.
