Charleys Cheesesteaks - S San Diego

Came in the other day and was pleasantly surprised! the cashier was friendly, fast and efficient. i have zero complaints. i did not wait long for my food but the food was still fresh. my fries were seriously the most warm they’ve been from any restaurant. they were seasoned nicely but cooked even nicer. they were crispy, soft, and pretty pillow-y. the sandwich was the real star of the show though. i really enjoyed the flavor of the meat and the melted-ness of the cheese. both my food items were perfectly warm and inviting. i’ve never been to Charley’s before but this visit alone made me realize i already want to come back.

The worst charleys I have ever been to. Service is atrocious and they are rude and ignore you. You can clearly see the order screen and there is only 1 order due so I don't know what the wait was for.

We got ignored for 5 mins then not even a hello the employee said what would you like to order before we close in 9 minutes , extremely rude.

Ordering was a challenge. Cashier could not understand my questions (first timer). The beef is like packaged shaved, dry and tasteless, the cheese is like melted velveeta, and the sautayed onions few and far between.The receipt shows the order was rung up incorrectly. Never did figure out if undercharged or overcharged. Neither employee was able to explain and one was dismissive. It was a cold cloudy day and I was really hoping for a really good sandwich. The lemonade was good.

Staff is great and helpful. Food prepared well in a timely manner. Bourbon steak sandwich was good but the Cajun fries was a disappointment.
