This food is amazing! If you're in search of incredible soul food, this is the spot. The chef cooks with so much passion! The greens are just fantastic!

The food is still amazing! I've been a loyal customer since their previous location. Without a doubt, this is the best soul food in Sacramento.

The Fried Crab was outstanding. The atmosphere was friendly and laid-back. We also highly recommend the peach cobbler and the macaroni and cheese!

Ordered pork chops and the meat looked really strange!!! Ugggh!! Absolutely gross! Don't think I'll be going back ...

So Disappointed from the 1st encounter. 1st night we came in about and before close he said they were done cooking For the night and only had a couple things that happen to be cold. My husband and I are from Chicago and Indiana but recently moved here from Louisiana. Not knowing the neighborhood we were already disappointed about not seeing soul food places But finally one pops up and it's Black Owned which made us want to support even more considering the neighborhood.. Well we don't feel they are supportive of any of the ppl in the neighborhood you've moved into. I recently tried to order just chicken because I wasn't to fond of their sides. And yes I've cooked for over 20 years and currently building our food truck which is in process to help feed the neighborhood with prices affordable. Which means we actually do the work to find the right companies that will work with us considering all with economy. Not hiking the price of 3 bland oxtails and a bunch of dry rice for 35.00 bucks and say it's because the store charged you so you will charge us Smh.. Lucky I wasn't there to stop my husband from buying two dinner a dry salmon and oxtails for 65 bucks liked I stopped myself from you trying to force me to buy sides when all asked for was chicken. And was willing to pay the same price but was thrown a comment of next time you come it'll have to be a whole dinner because you don't sell meat separate . Ok we'll never again and definitely recommend due to attitude. And barbeque does not mean dump it in Luke warm barbeque sauce.. You have a top notch grill use it.. hope you're delivering food to some of the elderly that can't get to you in that cart riding around in wasting gas time and energy that is added to price of you food. Smh Dang it My Own.
