Írjon visszajelzéstBeautiful restaurant, we sat in a cozy little nook .They have a very seasonal fresh menu. We enjoyed tatertots as anstarter . Cute cubed potatoes freshly fried served with a creamy avocado ranch. Very nice. Our second course was technically a starter as well, but we like to share, so a scallop crudo in the hot weather sounded nice. Served in a shell a tasty dish of raw scallops onion avocado was quite refreshing. Our main was a roasted black cod. Served on fresh bell peppers. Just a hint of spice was not overpowering..The restaurant itself has a nice ambiance the staff are well versed and descriptive when exploring the menu. Enjoy a nice date night here. Not too fancy but definitely upscale. Would we go back....yes definitely. 4 thumbs up.
H&L lives up to the hype. We came here for brunch in their back patio and it was hands down one of the best brunches we’ve had in Sacramento. Server was pretty attentive and friendly. We got the breakfast burrito (make sure to get some hot sauce on the side) which was incredibly tasty with balanced flavors of the house made chorizo, hash browns and eggs. The porchetta hash was amazing with perfectly cooked porchetta where there was a little bit of fat and still crispy and not dry at all. Drinks were made well too, we got the **** Mary and iced Irish Coffee. We will definitely be back!
I love this place! The atmosphere is great, the staff is kind, and the food is delicious. They serve a variety of dishes and are vegetarian/vegan friendly. I started coming here by following one of the main chefs, Cj. He previously worked at Golden Bear and the food quality was fantastic during his time there. When I learned he was leaving, I quickly did some intel and found that he would be here. I enjoy myself each time i’m here but the most when Cj is working. This place is great for date night, siting solo at the bar for a bite, or enjoying the outside terrace with friends.
Our friend recommended we come here as a mid-level price option for our 3rd year anniversary. (We chose lunch because I have to take off on a 13 hour drive early next day.)Atmosphere is great. The food was very flavorful, but a bit too salty on salad and pasta for us. Portion size for the toast was pretty small for price paid. Salad size was good, but $5 extra for a few cold chicken bits added was not.It simply ended up being a miss for us based on other food locations we visited on this 3 week long road trip.
Met my husband here for a mid-week date lunch. It was a hot summer day, but we still sat on the back patio. It has a pleasant secret garden feel, with lots of greenery and shade. I had a Strawb-aries Season while we chatted and waited for lunch. Very refreshing, not too boozy or sweet. We shared the tator tots, which are fantastically square, and the pizzasalad. The pizzasalad was not my favorite but a nice lighter pizza option. I would certainly go back.
