The mocha is great, and the black iced tea is excellent too. They also serve chamomile tea. The seating is comfortable, and the music is pleasant and soft on weekdays. There's an outdoor seating area next to the park, which adds to the overall experience.

The restaurant felt so much cozier and inviting before the remodeling. There was more seating available, and the elevated front seating area was a lovely spot. Now, the atmosphere feels more detached, with a lot of empty space that detracts from the sense of intimacy and reduces the number of available seats. For those who are complaining about the hot weather and the presence of homeless individuals, maybe it's time to consider the bigger picture: Do you ever think about those who work outdoors all day in the summer, like roofers, outdoor security guards, landscapers, gardeners, or road workers, who toil without any shade for eight hours? There's a park right across the street with plenty of trees and shade, not to mention free water.

Update (November 27, 2023): The hours have been adjusted due to a decrease in demand stemming from the pandemic and reduced foot traffic from people working from home. However, it's still a great spot to enjoy steaming hot drinks during the fall and winter months. It's also a nice place to find some snacks in addition to the usual baked goods. Make sure to check with the staff for options. (Circa August 2021) This is my go-to place in the morning for exceptional coffee and more!

We tried the mocha Aztec hot drink. Simply delicious.

We were greeted warmly as we walked in and were given a very yummy drink recommendation by the baristas. There's a cute outdoor garden with seating and even the music they play is great. Will make a point to come back next time I'm in town to try more drinks.
