Restaurante A Tasca - Sagres

We had an excellent meal here, we both ordered the octopus stone and the beautiful waitress told us that you were enough for both of us. It was a delicious stew and she could just let us order everyone! The food and service was great, friendly and efficient and we will feel very welcome.

Efficient service. I had an excellent fish soup and my wife had shrimps. She said the shrimps were very tasty, but dislike to peel the cooked shrimps. We both had the Filet Steak, which was excellent. I have to mention the chips... serves crispy and HOT... (white) So many restaurants serve lukewarm chips, but not here, they were hot and very tasty.

We went without reservation, our hotel said with only 2 people it would be good. The host rolled his eyes on us and then sat without tables or cutlery. (All the others sat with it) when the waitress came after 15 minutes and... I asked for a glass of wine instead of a bottle - my husband does not drink wine - the waitress seemed irritated and went. After another 15 minutes when she waited for other stories, we left. Service staff is so rude! We went instead to a delicious Italian place!

We were good over tascas cataplanas. we planned our day. we booked a table 6:30 o'clock. we arrived 1 minute early and the waiter in the terrace was really rude for us since the moment we arrived. maybe 1 minute. in portugal it is not good lately. unfortunately we were not dressed for a windy weather. So we changed the tables. that was already a “no, can’t answer” ... when we wanted to use the toilets that were locked and he just said: yes, they are locked! noou action to open it for us. fortunately, another person appeared and made it available to us. to this point I wanted to go and find another restaurant. but because we were recommended by a friend, we decided to stay. we ordered 3 fish dishes, an salate and some next dishes. old school waiter told us that there were no snuggles and rushed to find another court. because if we have delayed too much to order the kitchen, our order will delay. how they are super busy. we decided instead for a small starter. but for our surprise, mushes were served in a nearby table. hume after approx. 20 min the same waiter came back and explained that they had just got some whispers. and that it was okay to order. we decided, not. about eating: cadjau was too dry. salat was good, but only salat garnel. for this level of restaurants price range, I expected a better choice of leaves! a mix leaf in the super market costs less than eur2! and they can make at least 3 salads with it! we paid eur 13.5 for salat. fish cataplana was very tasty, but we had doubts about the fishing on it. we ordered dourada, but it didn't look like all the pieces were dourada (fish! the hope is great! Perhaps the only reason to go there. but I would rather make a picture of the terrace and go.

We decided to enter this restaurant based on the sea view: that is for sure amazing. Unfortunately, the staff was horrible: tapping on your left shoulder and stand on the right side, or even worse: tap on your shoulder and squat down what a...mess... The chicken pirri pirri was not great, the portion of fries that comes with it is decent. The tuna was OK, and had a good sauce. I will for sure not come back though...
