The Marquee Restaurant & Lounge

The food was amazing!!! The staff was very fantastic... the atmosphere was at point!!!! NATALIE Was my server and I am not disappointed ... A must only in ST LOUIS AREA!!! 1st time here will NOT be my last time!!! You really are? Love the Marquee!!!

While in St. Louis I was looking for an African American restaurant opened in the afternoon. It looked like a lot from the roadside where we parked. But inside was huge, beautifully decorated and seemed designed for lounging, dinning, dancing or relaxing for big parties or small parties. They approached from 3pm to 5pm, but remained open to us since we were out of town. We had fish, chickens and ribs. The food was really good and our waitress was a very nice and very friendly young lady was new for the job, but definitely at the top. Try this place. But go before or lunch or wait until after 5:00.

Loved the Brunch After Dark!! The vibe, the music, everything was very decent.. drinks were also on point! I will gladly go back and experience another evening here. My only complaint is that my friend believes she accidentally left her credit card inside the bill booklet. She tried to call the listed number a few times and couldn't reach a live person, only a voicemail. Definitely should have a number to reach someone at all times during open business hours, given that they're open til 3am. However, that's not enough to keep me from going back for another fun night at this great spot.

Dope vibe, great food and good service. My only complaint was that they sat us up top along a wall that had no place to put your legs. Kind of weird setup, they should definitely look at making that area more seating friendly. Other than that, the view was great from up there and everything else was spot on. Great Black owned business, please support!

Lobster Rockefeller meal was delicious- lobster, shrimp, garlic bread seasoned WELL! The alcoholic beverages was POTENT and Tasty! The music was dope- mixture of greatness. That was my first time going/ realized it?s black owned so I was extremely excited to be in that environment and honored to write a great review. I will be going back!! Kudos to the owners- much love and respect to you all!
