Panama Hattie's Grill

We used to visit every couple of months, but the restaurant has now PERMANENTLY CLOSED and will be replaced by a new establishment next year.

I really appreciated that it was just a short walk from our hotel. The food was visually appealing. I ordered the salmon bowl, and the kale-based coleslaw was surprisingly good. The interior is quite spacious, offering choices for indoor or outdoor seating, as well as upstairs or downstairs. I will definitely visit this place again when I'm in town.

We just went for a drink or two to listen to entertainment after having dinner downtown. The bartender was super friendly. The singer was good playing a lot of different artists for the mixed crowd. We would go back to try it to each for sure.

While driving along the beach, we discovered this little hidden gem! As first-time visitors, we were initially hesitant due to the number of cars parked outside, but since it was only 4 PM, we decided to give it a shot—and we’re so glad we did! The atmosphere was relaxing, bright, and fun, reminiscent of a country club. The portion sizes were generous and the flavors were fantastic! The staff was friendly, making our experience even more enjoyable. I highly recommend checking this place out if you’re in the area!

Had an excellent visit here with my family! In town for work and this was one of the places recommended. Tracy was our server and although new she did not miss a beat. We had the seafood bisque for an appetizer and it was so delicious, warm and truly delightful to the taste buds. Our entrees came out quickly after that. I ordered the salmon BLT! It was so yummy it came with delicious crispy French fries and a side of kale slaw, equally satisfying. I also had a Pina Colada which was very tasty! We ordered the shrimp Alfredo, the shrimp were plump and well cooked but it was a pretty standard Alfredo dish. It was a big portion so my husband who can really put it away had enough for leftovers. My little one had the chicken tenders and fries. I didn't try the tenders. They appeared to be fried pretty hard for a little eater, but he managed to eat a bit of it. They also had a lovely live musician which I thought was a nice touch. Overall I enjoyed this impromptu visit and wouldn't mind trying it again.
