Red Lobster Saint Augustine

Extremely long wait time. Food was terrible. Freezing

The staff was incredibly friendly, despite being understaffed. They did their best to ensure we had a great experience. Our waitress was fantastic; she arrived at 4:00 and quickly made us feel welcome! We were celebrating my mom's 92nd birthday!

One of the dishes was served incorrectly, but it was replaced after a lengthy wait. My meal of grilled bay scallops and flounder had an overwhelming fishy flavor. The flounder was mushy and seemed to be cooked from frozen. I was quite disappointed. However, the bread, as always, was nice. Our waitress was friendly and efficient.

The food was good, the rolls were so yummy, the drinks were good (Shipwreck Mary) and the server (Jay) was attentive, but the prices were pretty shocking! You can go cheaper but if you want to order what your craving (shrimp, crab, lobster) the prices started at $34 dollars and went on up up up from there! Hubby had one beer, I had the **** mary. We didn't have appetizers or dessert and the bill was $95 before tip. This is not your father's Red Lobster! Wow! Be prepared!

We enjoyed our final night at the historic site in St. Augustine.
