We dined there for 4 days enjoying everything we ordered so much that we decided not to take our chance elsewhere. Menu is diverse, but not so huge that you get lost; we especially loved the variety of shrimp dishes and breakfast items. Portions were large, wait staff charming, and bar service entertaining. Be sure to try the Chocolate Ganache Brownie, you'll have non-better!
We ate here because it was located in the resort. We were expecting a lot more from a restaurant side of Guy Harvey. Ordered the Royal Red tempura shrimp. It was very flavorless, bland, and not crispy at all, like wrapped in wet bread. Had the fish and chips it was an extremely large piece of fish again no seasoning and very tasteless. Service was fast waitress was extremely nice. Would expect more at this price point and location.
I would give zero stars, those two stars are for our waiter, she was very nice. The food was HORRIBLE, I think that was the worst dinner in the past couple of years. We stayed at the Guy Harvey hotel, and just checked in, had a long drive and decided to just have a dinner at the hotel’s restaurant. Coleslaw was tasteless, shrimps were ok but crab cake was the worst we ever tried. Lamb chops worth one star. Both of us had a bad stomach the entire evening. Never again.
Santiago's was in the lobby of the hotel I stayed at, so I gave it a try! I found myself eating at Santiago's not for just the convenience, but because food was delicious! The first night we ordered the calamari. It was drenched in a sweet and savory sauce. I believe it's bang bang sauce and teriyaki sauce or sesame. Amazing taste! Breakfast is great because they give you a big portion which is a good way to start the day especially when you're traveling. I also tried the poke bowl which was yummy! Service was nice, overall friendly and helpful. Restaurant was clean, they have outdoor seating- a patio with lights and nice tables, which was very popular. I sat inside all times, my preference, and it was very pleasant. I recommend Santiago's!
Expected this to be more upscale. Bartender was a little messy, seemed to be a bit disheveled. Burger was meh. They gave us Mayo packets and ketchup packets. The Alfredo pasta was good but a very liquid sauce, needed to be much thicker. Tasted good tho. Seemed like a badly run chain restaurant., would not return.Food: 3/5
