Mackinac Fudge Shop - Saint Ignace

We had a great time during our visit. We picked up some fudge and had a lovely chat with the owner. The place is located at the end of the shopping area on the main strip.

I purchased three pieces of fudge, and they were excellent. The lady in the store was incredibly friendly and helpful!

I had the fudge shipped to California and was extremely disappointed. The maple fudge was so crystallized that it felt like eating sand, and the ones with nuts tasted rancid. Out of the six pieces, only two were edible. Honestly, I could make better fudge myself. I reached out to customer service with a complaint, but they ignored me until I threatened to involve the Better Business Bureau. I did receive a call afterward, but I had left my phone at home. I didn't follow up because I was so upset—spending over $60 on that fudge and receiving such poor quality was outrageous. All I wanted was a refund for the four inedible pieces. I wouldn’t recommend ordering it online; it seems like you get a much lower quality product than what you would at the shop.

I feel the taffy was a bit old as it was so hard to chew. Lots of nice little souvenirs. Cute little place.
