Momento Coffee House

As part of our quest for Vancouver’s Best Coffee, Nusa Coffee derives its name from the Indonesian word "nusantara," which translates to “collection of islands.” True to its name, the café offers a diverse range of single-origin coffees sourced from various Indonesian islands.

This charming coffee shop features very friendly staff. The woman I believe to be the owner introduced me to their coconut chicken sticky rice snack, which was absolutely amazing! It was packed with flavor and very reasonably priced. All the items here are much better priced compared to Blenz or Starbucks. The pour-over coffee I had was a bit strong for my taste, but still enjoyable. I definitely recommend this place!

Nusa Coffee opened its doors earlier this year in Kitsilano, introducing an Indonesian coffee experience with a selection of five premium coffee beans sourced from various regions of Indonesia. In addition to coffee, they offer sandwiches, baked goods, and traditional Indonesian sweets. The coffee selection is impressive, featuring a variety of coffees, espressos, and teas. I tried the Bali Blue Moon latte, made from an organic medium dark roast blend. I added coconut sugar for sweetness, which was a first for me.
