Breakfast a cone is awesome. Basically a bacon egg and cheese on a giant red lobster biscuit.
I Celebrated Many Wedding Ceremonies here in the past, however, I would like to know IF Anyone has Recent Information to the Existence Today of this Amazing Venue? .Please Do Inform This Writer At Your earliest. Appreciated!
We recently bought the special offered by Tuango. our first impression from our visit here, we were pleasantly surprised by the friendly owners and staff. The boat picked us up at the quay and after a short ride we arrived at the island. The walk to the majestic manoir was short and pleasent. What a beautiful winery. The area is a wonderful sight. The grounds and building were very impressive (Great place to hold any event or a wedding, very picturesque ) After everyone (a group of 12 ) arrived, we were greeted by the owner himself who gave us a very informative tour of how and what takes place in a winery and the challenges involved in the planting, cultivating, making and selling the wine..(I had no idea)The wines are very good for a new winery and theres alot of pottential. My wife and I had a 6 wine tasting package. Wine is a matter of personal taste and although we love very dry wines the wines we tried were sweeter but of good qality. The staff is very friendly and knows their wines well. Our server although friendly was only his 2nd day there, so he needed some twiking. The owners wife and another girl that was serving the next table were very knowledgable and will help you decide what to taste if your not sure. The new owners Greg and his wonderfull wife Karie-Anne, are very pleasant down to earth kind of people who admittedly knew nothing about running a winerie and the challenges it presented, yet they are passionate and determined to make it work, and like most of us enjoy a good glass of wine and a smile from their friends and guests at the manoir. Like in any business there's always room for improvement, however they deserve our support and I personally believe they will succeed. Were looking forward to return soon before the season ends with the family.
My wife and I do not speak any French. The owner and staff were very accommodating. This is my third visit and my wife's first visit. With my past visits, the food has been excellent. This last visit we had the platter and did the wine tasting. The new owner was very engaging and we talked for a long time - in English! running a small winery is a big investment of time and $$ so it appears that some other visitors have experienced some of the post bankruptcy of the previous owner. We saw none of this and thoroughly enjoyed our time at Domaine de l'Île Ronde. We will be back.
