Schu's Grill - Saint Joseph

We had dinner on the terrace. Fortunately, there was a awning screen because it was a bit drizzled. My wife has sliders. Lots of fish! Service was very good. The owner came to our table to make sure everything was okay. Beautiful view of the lake.

I enjoyed my time here because it was a birthday party. I had the turkeyburger with one side of Pomme's carrot cake to dessert. There were so many options that I decided to keep it easy. The pommes were delicious. I enjoyed the carrot cake! The taste was not too intense, it was very subtle as a cheese cake. The other people I had steak on medium, I think a crab soup, and then Alta tuna salad, baked potatoes, vegetarian bean burgers, and two Mediterranean I think pasta dishes. But my favorite thing was really simple. Black cherry mixed with root beer, that was unbeatable.

5 stars go to our server Tina. She was the best. Such a positive and good energy! The food was great. The only negative was how overwhelmed the hostess seemed. It is a busy weekend (working day), so you just want to take into account reservations. The experience was definitely given a big boost as soon as Tina came to our table. The kitchen seemed to cope with the current, everything came out in good time.

Big burgers and beer for lunch. The fries were also really good. You can now pay your tab directly from your place. Very practical. I never had a bad meal or a bad service here. Great outdoor seating right on the Bluff.

Place was amazing! We had chartered a fishing boat earlier in the day. So our captain suggested taking our fresh catch in so the chef could cook them for us. Food was great! Waitress was so personable as well. Good wine! Highly suggest this place!
