Doc Ford's Rum Grille Ft. Myers Beach

Such a fun place to eat! I came with family and my dog and they immediately seated us outside. There?s a beautiful view of the pier from inside and outside and they had live music playing as well. I had the mule margarita and it was very delicious and refreshing. We enjoyed their peel and eat shrimp, blackened grouper tacos, fried chicken sandwich, pulled pork sandwich, tropical salad, and the lime panko crusted fish sandwich. All of the items were DELICIOUS and I willdefinitely be returning. Our server, Colin, was on the ball, always checking on us and refilling our waters. We will definitely be returning!

What a great experience and atmosphere. This restaurant has nothing but good vibes, the waiters and waitresses were too tier with their customer service. Furthermore, the food was off the chain and the fish we had was fresh and it shows. I highly recommend this place, Great work guys!

I visited this restaurant for lunch after a stroll along the pier, and it was great to enjoy some stone crab again! The rest of the food was beautifully presented, and I really enjoyed the shrimp and grits. The paella was tasty, though not the best I've had. The kids loved the pepperoni pizza, and I noticed many families dining there today. They also had a nice selection of spicy sauces. The waitstaff was excellent and efficiently catered to our requests. I would definitely return.

Doc Ford's is an excellent choice for the St. Pete Pier experience. It features a lovely setting with both indoor and outdoor seating, and one of the most stunning aquariums I've ever encountered. The staff is incredibly friendly as well. I didn't even get to try my main course because the appetizers we shared at our table were so delicious that I ended up too full. As a side note, don’t miss out on the fried calamari appetizer—it’s amazing!

The restaurant boasts a fantastic location on the pier, with parking available nearby or on the streets if the lot is full. There are options for indoor, patio, and outdoor seating. However, the mixed drinks at the bar didn't quite hit the mark for us. On a positive note, the food was impressive; we ordered fried shrimp and finished every bite. The grouper special was well-cooked, featuring a delicious seafood sauce, but the real standout was the amazing flatbread. Service was excellent, with the hostess being welcoming and the staff ensuring our food was served hot and our drinks were refilled promptly. Overall, a great experience!
