Bennie's Red Barn - Saint Simons Is

We enjoyed our time at Bennie's Red Barn. The food was delicious and our service was fabulous. Our female waitress was tops! She was very efficient and friendly. We also had one of the men come over and sing for us! He is so kind and has a beautiful voice! We always love coming here. It is a great family place!

Great home cooked southern cuisine with a very rustic atmosphere. Excellent service. It really takes you back many decades which is very nice change in today's times. On Sundays they have a wonderful buffet with so many things to choose from, and also hand carved and served prime rib at the end. Whether your visiting St. Simon's or a local resident, I would highly recommend making this a must see and experience location. You won't regret it.

The food was delicious! Friendly and attentive staff. Everything we had was cooked to perfection. Will definitely be back! Well, after submitting this review, we waited a total of 40 minutes for our check. We spoke to 3 different staff about getting our check. Having been restaurant owners ourselves, giving waiters/waitresses tables in at least 3 different corners if this large place, isn't the best practice.

We celebrated my friends wedding day. The atmosphere is wonderful and the service is even better. I enjoyed the filet with mashed potatoes and my husband had the ribeye. WOW!! Both were delicious!!

Had a great steak and my wife had the Salmon. Lots of history to the Barn. Our waiter Gordon was wonderful. Chip went from table to table singing old songs and telling stories. The evening was a real treat.
