Iguanas - Saint Simons Island

My friend who lives in the island of St. Simons has recommended this place. While on a mini vacation my father and I decided to stop by and not disappoint. At the beginning we ordered some of the fried mushrooms and they were fantastic! For lunch I ordered one of the mixed cocktails and the famous roasted shrimps with baked potato! It was the perfect lunch, extremely tasty and satisfying. My father ordered the black salmon and he said it was delicious. If our lunch was not good enough, this place has free soft food to finish! Very satisfied with our visit here

Let me start by saying AMAZING in every aspect. The way your treated by the hostess, the level of engagement and professionalism while making you feel like family was one night I will never forget. The manager Mike was absolutely top notch notch in every way and the pricing was awesome, you will be surprised by the prices because you feel like your eating 5 star food. Trust me eat here.

We loved Iguanas and definitely plan to come back. Taylor made the best Old Fashioned drink and we loved the Clam Strips and Fried Mushrooms. Tyler was very sweet and greeted us with a welcoming personality. Great service all around!! I took a peek at what other people ordered and I must say that it all looked delicious. You will love walking this area and checking out the stores and restaurants. Make sure to not miss this one.

So delicious and fun. Local shrimp is outstanding. Friendly service. Family atmosphere. I had the shrimp and grits only disappointment is that I couldn't eat it all. Fried grits cake was crispy on the outside, creamy and cheesy inside. Cajun cream sauce finished perfectly.

We had a great lunch and enjoyed the shrimp appetizer. I almost didn’t get a photo because it was so good. The bacon wrapped shrimp and coconut shrimp were my favorite.
