Bistro Canaille - Saint-Tropez

We were there on a recommendation. Our experience was really bad, we won't be back. Both servers were arrogant and unfriendly. On top of that the food took ages and when asking for it the server just answered that he is not the cook. Sorry, but unacceptable. He could at least have asked in the kitchen.

We foolishly didn't book anywhere in St Tropez and so struggled to get in anywhere but were very grateful for this place seating us. It was a nice atmosphere, sitting outside on a cute St Tropez street.The prices where very expensive for what you got - for 30 euro a dish I expected something a little special but it was the kind of meal I would have expected for maybe half the price. But perhaps that's just a st Tropez thing - it was all hugely expensive in most places.The staff were really friendly, the food was presented well, it was all ok - just a bit expensive for what we got.

Went there based on the recommendation of our hotel's concierge and it was such a pleasant experience! The food was delicious and the street in which the restaurant is was just out of this world!

Filled with locals and celebrities.........make this a must do when in St Tropez! If you are looking for the St Tropez experience in one night, make sure this place is on your list. Do not leave St Tropez without a night at Bistro Canaille.

Wow. To be quite honest when I sat down and looked at the menu I was a bit disappointed because there was such a small selection I though I wouldn't like anything But first we had roasted tomatoes and burrata....wow! So good and fresh Second plates we had truffle risotto and gnocchi with burratina. Delicious is an understatement
