Restaurant Esmeralda Sur-Lac

This restaurant has been around for ages and still has a fabulous atmosphere and food. Must have is the tiramisu! Great for couples or families.

Just dined at this establishment Friday night. We really enjoyed the food and service. We are foodies and did not have any complaints. I am sure everything is good. We had the mussels and ceasar salad, Oso Bucco and pepper steak. Mouth watering. The dessert was yummy too. Don't hesitate to go. Not overly expensive. The owner was so friendly as were her waitresses. Would definitely recommend if you are visiting this area.

We came here for New Year's dinner and had a fabulous meal with great service! All the food was good and they had a good table d'hote selection.

We did not have reservations on a Saturday night, but waited about 20 minutes to be seated outside on patio. Very nice patio! Service was excellent! Food was excellent! I had the Salssicia Peperonata and the Scaloppine Marco Antonio and my wife had the Moules Marinara and the home made Manicotti Alla Fiorentina. All were delicious, especially the manicotti, made from scratch. Two large manicotti, not your average size.Enrico and Albina greeted customers both local and strangers like ourselves like they had known them forever. We had a few things in common, expecting newborn in the family soon around the same time and being Italian. I would highly recommend this eatery to anyone wanting a wonderful family atmosphere with delicious authentic Italian food. The scenery overlooking the lake was also ideal and romantic!

This was our second visit to this restaurant in the last couple of years and each time even with no reservation, they were able to accommodate us. It's our chance to practice our poor French and the staff always seems to understand! Food is excellent and we weren't rushed through our meal. Beautiful view of the lake - a relaxing enjoyable evening.
