Kenny's Kitchen - Salem

I don't know if Kenny calls it BBQ or soul food or even thinks about that kind of semantic argument, but let me tell ya'll, this food has soul. My man gets there early to slow-smoke them ribs, I'm here to tell you.I'll be back for brisket when beef prices get back to normal, and do not miss the mac salad or the beans.Kenny keeps the prices low, which is a miracle in itself so go support this treasure when you're in Salem. Incidentally you can get your haircut and a good boxing workout in the same parking lot.

Delicious food! Bbq rub on the ribs was perfectly balanced. A new taste for me was asparagus on the bbq! It was super! I enjoyed lunch so much I brought dinner home for Brett. Best barbecue west of the Mississippi. We had everything on the menu and were blown away by all of it. I'd recommend the ribs most, don't skip whatever seasonal side he's got. Top notch, will be coming back here often.

If you're in search of incredible BBQ west of the Mississippi, this is the place to go. I've sampled nearly everything on the menu, and I was impressed by each dish. I highly recommend the ribs and collard greens, and make sure to try any of the seasonal sides—they're a must!
