Otto's Hideaway Tavern - Salem

Not only is this place under great management, but they make you feel at home! Excellent food and excellent service. Always with a smile: beer always cold and food always hot! Definitely stop when you're in the area. They won't be disappointed.

This is a fantastic family-owned bar run by a wonderful family. It has a homey feel, situated in a residential area, so you might miss it if you’re not paying attention. Terry and her family always make you feel at home. Betsy, the bartender, is excellent; she remembered my name and drink order on only her second time serving me. They offer delicious bar food, such as excellent wings, Reubens, burgers, and fish fry. This is my go-to spot for Packer games. The Northwoods atmosphere is perfect for families. I would give it 10 stars if I could!

We were invited by friends to this restaurant because they are avid fans of the fish fry. However, each of us decided to try something different, and every dish we ordered was absolutely delicious. The atmosphere is quite charming, filled with various collectibles and antiques. While the setup isn't overly fancy, there's plenty of room to accommodate the typical Friday night crowd. The service was excellent, and the staff were friendly and accommodating to our specific requests. It's more of a pub that serves meals, but if you appreciate a tasty dining experience, this place is definitely worth a visit.

This is the best bar ever! Tracy and Betsy always make our Bike-Packing group feel welcome, year after year. After riding over 80 miles, it's such a relief to enjoy delicious food, great drinks, and excellent service.
