Mi Tierra - Salinas

I don't live in the area, but as a pilot, I've eaten at many restaurants, and I can confidently say that this place has the best super quesadilla in the USA, without a doubt. We're heading over from the Monterey airport just to enjoy it. The staff is friendly as well!

I had to go to Salinas for two reasons: to attend a calf roping event and to contact a dealer about an antique pipe I had found. This beautiful piece was made around 1800 from ivory and featured scrimshaw work from a whaling ship called Essex. Although they had the proper documentation, they were asking for more than I was willing to pay. So, I decided to search for a great Mexican restaurant, and I found it at Mi Tierra. It truly hits the spot! Five stars!

I had a delightful experience at this wonderful Mexican restaurant in the heart of the old town. It's one of my favorites! I ordered the combination of chile relleno and an asada taco, and it was delicious. The ambiance is tasteful, enhanced by lovely music and decor, making me feel great every time I visit.

Excellent food and service! small family restaurant in the city. eating and service were great!

Great steak fries and Carne asada tacos!!And the salsa and chips were out of this world. A little pricey but they serve you alot!!! Highly recommended ????
