Írjon visszajelzéstWe live in Monterey, but have been by here many times, and have seen the reviews, and have wanted to come here for a couple years. Based on the reviews, we had high expectations. Unfortunately, aside from the atmosphere, it was one of the worst food choices we have made in the area. My kids got the pizza, and will usually eat it whenever we get it. But the crust/dough was weird, the cheese was bland, and the pepperoni, too. In fact, the pepperoni was grey and almost tasteless. We assumed it must be some organic turkey pepperoni or something. When we asked what kind of pepperoni it was, our waiter went back to the kitchen and asked. He came back and told me that they didn't know, just that it came from Costco. We are extremely unlikely to ever return. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $20–30 Food: 2 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 4
Good environment but we all agreed the food was pretty bland and had obviously been waiting in the back because it was lukewarm when it got to our table of 5 people. It did get a little busy so I totally understand being short staffed but I was hoping for more flavor from the food... The food here is fantastic, and the bathrooms are very clean. There's a great variety on the menu! I had the French dip, which came with fresh bread and tender tri-tip, and the chicken sandwich was also very tasty. The portion sizes are generous, and the Cobb salad was excellent. It's slightly off the beaten path, but definitely worth the trip!
My Caesar salad was overwhelmed with dressing and had a strange amount of bacon bits sprinkled on top, which is not a standard addition. I’m usually open to trying new things, but there’s a limit—I have mixed feelings about places that overdo it with bacon. The salmon wasn't fresh at all, and while they didn’t claim it would be, I still expected better. My husband was not impressed with his fettuccine Alfredo either; he couldn’t pinpoint the issue, but he’s certainly not eager to return. I left feeling really let down, especially since I paid $30 for a pizza that the kids didn’t even want. I had hoped to like this place and make it a regular stop for our family, but unfortunately, that won’t be happening. On the plus side, the service was good and the atmosphere was pleasant.
