Oriental - Salinas

The food is great try the chicken shrimp beef vegstable wonton soup on a cold day the best owners are dinner nice too!

It could be the lil Corner Dive Oriental Restaurant, but it was sooooo good!

Walked into the restaurant, and immediately had reservations about staying much less ordering anything, the building was old and in great need of an upgrade. I decided to stay and give it a try anyway. Having had previous experience with similar places during my time in Japan. I came to realize that the hole in the wall mom and pop places were exceptional values both in price and quality. This is just such a place. The food was very good and quite seasonably priced. I plan to go back before leaving for my home town. I deducted one star only because of the run down appearance and lack of parking. If you can get past that, you will be in for some great food.

Good Chinese food, but it can take a while to get the food.

Special wonton soup is everything here. Everything is sold at a decent price.
