Been going to joyful house since i can remember there being a buffet and upstairs portion. my experiences have always been pleasant and amazing. my family and me have known the owners and their family for almost 20 years at this point. the food is always fresh and prices have been good even through covid. my personal favorite off the menu is the soup it’s always hot and fresh. : Service: Dine in
Joyful House is the best Chinese place in Saline. I've eaten in a few places in town and this one beats them all. It's best to keep food consistent. I've eaten at least a dozen times here and the food is always delicious. I remember Joyful House when it was a bigger restaurant, complete with a buffet. The restaurant has since then a large number of tables and a pleasant dining environment. Most tables are for two, and as a family of seven we need to combine some tables, but it is not too much of a problem. My dish is Chicken Lo mine, but I will often get chicken with mixed vegetables. I praise every place they make these two dishes, and Joyful House makes them both right. The lo my has always delicate chicken with the perfect amount of taste; never too salty or too bland. The chicken with mixed vegetables has the perfect choice of vegetables, and the sauce is excellent. The rice is always perfectly cooked. Tonight I ordered a lo mine with hot and sour soup, roast pork dumplings and crabs rangoons. Everything was delicious, and for about 25 dollars it was a great meal. I found another restaurant in Saline or even Ann Arbor that makes Chinese better than Joyful House. I am confident to say that you will enjoy whatever you order.
