Barbacoa Mexican Grill - Salt Lake City

My barbacoa beef burrito was $9.99 and my drink was $2.99 so after taxes it was a little over $14. The burrito was good and better tasting than most fast food style southwestern places however my burrito had very little meat and was mostly just rice and beans. The meal was good but not worth the money. If they could improve the amount of meat they put on the burrito I would come back.

$7 for 2 tiny tacos, stingy with ingredients, I'm still hungry. never back.

Barbacoa is a Utah classic and hard to beat for a fresh, fast meal. but I wouldn't go on Sunday as it's so slow and eating doesn't seem so fresh. overall, very good!

Good Chicken Burrito Soup.. After tasting my co-workers chicken burrito soup from Barbacoa, I had to stop by and get a bowl for myself. The soup was well balance with hominy, rice, chicken and pinto beans. I also bought a chicken burrito as well The only bad thing about the dinning experience was that the burrito fell apart after picking it up because it was so over stuffed with rice.

The burrito bowl meals with a tortilla on the side are my favorite meal here. The Sweet Pork Barbacoa is great. For a quick meal this is a good choice.
