Beto's - Salt Lake City

If I could give this place zero stars, I definitely would. The photos speak volumes. What was supposed to be chips with cheese and guacamole was a disappointment. The guacamole was brown and there was barely any cheese. They limited us to just two tiny portions of sauce per order, and any extra sauce cost an additional 25 cents for each tablespoon. It's outrageous to charge over $7 for such a subpar experience.

Food tasted good but is a little pricey. The beef was very very greasy. Although it had a good flavor. The nachos were more chips than anything. A bunch of toppings dumped on tortilla chips barely any cheese.

The only reason to visit this restaurant is that they are open. The chefs do not wear gloves while preparing food. When you order guacamole, it seems they won’t serve it to you, yet you still get charged for it. They claim to offer a cash discount, but it's not actually applied. That being said, when the food is good, it’s really good. I enjoy the Combo Breakfast Burrito, and their salsa/hot sauce is excellent. It seems to vary from day to day, but it really shouldn't!

Love betos, always get the cheese enchiladas with rice and beans. Always fills me up and is super delicious. I went on a Tuesday around 9:45pm last week and they seemed to be closed. Maybe they're closed every Tuesday. Usually they're open late night. Check this place out.

Although prices have increased, the quality remains excellent. I ordered the regular super nachos and one without meat, and both were outstanding.
