Freshies Lobster Salt Lake City

After reading several reviews, I had high hopes for Freshies, and it certainly lived up to them! I’ve tried my share of East Coast lobster rolls, and this one is by far the best I’ve ever tasted. You might spend a little extra for the ‘Real Mainah,’ but I highly recommend going for it instead of the ‘Tourist’ option—life is too short not to enjoy fresh, delicious lobster!

I was really impressed by Freshies! The lobster was fresh and perfectly clean, nestled in a light, crispy bun. The flavors were authentic and delightful! After savoring my 3.7oz Real Mainah fresh lobster roll with a side of brown corn, I felt completely satisfied without being overly full. The staff was friendly, helpful, and welcoming. The restaurant was clean and had a wonderful aroma. I highly recommend it to all seafood lovers!

The restaurant has a modern and inviting atmosphere with a seaside decor. The menu is easy to navigate, and it offers some interesting options for those who might not want a lobster roll. I ordered the "real Mainah" medium lobster roll with a side of corn. I was initially taken aback by the low price of the side ($2), only to realize that it was quite small—almost laughably so! Nevertheless, it was tasty. As for the lobster roll, it was absolutely delicious and the meat tasted incredibly fresh. I had tried lobster from another place before and found it to be far less impressive; it had a strange, squeaky texture compared to what I had at Freshies. Even though the lobster roll was on the smaller side, it was surprisingly well-filled. One person in my party ordered the grilled cheese and was disappointed, saying it was bland and that the cheese was too tough, resembling mozzarella. Overall, though, everyone else was really pleased with their food. I highly recommend it!

Holy cow. This place is a jewel. Eating was WONDERFUL. I had the middle lobster roll and corn and I was upset when I was done that I had not only ordered the biggest, because I had done something for one or two more bites. Liza, who worked the front counter, and the gentleman in the back, who prepared our food, was a two-headed crew. Not sure how they got through the door with traffic, but they were. Kudos to both and thank you for the amazing lunch. One who won't forget soon. A little out of the way, but worth the trip. WOW.

Delicious! This is our first time here; the lobster are good, food taser great! I felt the lobster with too much butter on; my daughter loves! Overall, the foods are delicious!
