Kao Thai - Salt Lake City

Loved the lunch specials that came with salad and appetizer. I was sooo disappointed to find out that they are no longer open for lunch.

Got the yellow curry, Thai basil fried rice, and another special. All of it was really good! Thai tea was awesome.

The menu offers incredible options! Elizabeth provided us with excellent service tonight, giving fantastic recommendations and being wonderfully kind and friendly. If you enjoy Thai cuisine, you definitely need to visit Kao!

I tried the food here for the first time, and I must say it's definitely some of the best Thai cuisine I've ever had. We ordered the Khao Soi, Drunken Noodles (both with chicken), and crispy rolls. Everything was incredibly tender and full of flavor—it left my mouth watering!

The food was absolutely delicious and the service was exceptional! My friends and I thoroughly enjoyed our experience at Kao Thai. We started with the Tom Kha soup, which was honestly the best I've ever had—just the right amount of spiciness, packed with chicken, and incredibly flavorful. For my main course, I tried the massaman curry with a spice level of either 2 or 3 (I can't quite remember), and it was fantastic. My friends opted for curry with no spice, and I would definitely suggest going for a little kick, as it really enhanced the flavor. Our waiter, Jose, was wonderful—kind, funny, and very attentive. I'm already looking forward to our next visit; I'm so happy we discovered this gem. It's my favorite Thai restaurant in Salt Lake City! Don't just walk—RUN!
