China Garden - SALUDA

I don't usually write negative reviews, but today was quite an experience. We waited over an hour for our food and, when we finally checked in, we were informed that they had run out of shrimp for our shrimp fried rice and sweet and sour shrimp. I was really disappointed. I felt bad for the young employee working there; it was clear he was overwhelmed, and I can't blame him entirely for the circumstances.

I have never been so disappointed with the food quality at this restaurant. The food tasted stale, and the prices were outrageous for the portion sizes. I paid $41 for what they called a "small" vegetable lo mein, a "small" chicken teriyaki that was burnt, and a "kids" size fries and wings.

This restaurant is excellent; the food is absolutely delicious!

Honestly I don’t recommend This place the Chicken is hard and the rice is too. Place has gone down hill over the years. Best places to eat in saluda unfortunately are the Fast food places.
