Le Quattro Stagioni D'italia - SALUZZO

Myself 3 female friends booked our visit in advance of visiting Saluzzo. During the afternoon we decided to check where this restaurant was located. We were met by an employee called Antonio who was initially accommodating friendly. It was clear at that point he took an immediate shine to one of my friends. We returned for our evening meal which I have to say was delicious. The owner of the establishment interacted with us during the evening was a pleasure to talk to. Unfortunately our experience took a sinister turn when Antonio flirted uncomfortably with my friend this was becoming awkward. When we were about to leave he proceeded to grade us from 1 to 2… we found this completely insulting and spoilt the whole evening. My friend I who didn’t make the grading were left to feel ugly unimportant. What a shame that this lovely restaurant employs men like this who see women as objects they have to grade. Of note, one of my friends confronted him about his comments and behaviour to which he reacted by laughing and walked away. What a shame that our experience here was completely spoilt by this man

I seldom write reviews of beautiful restarants I happen to come across. But for this I will do an exception! If you happen to be in Saluzzo shining medieval city on the hill you must visit this exceptionnel restaurant. The wellcome, the decor, the service, the food,the wines , the concept and the management exquicite. One outstanding feature is that you can enjoy a splendid meal with great wines or you can come in and have a pizza and a beer. And what ever you choose you’ll have a great time at a fair price. Food lovely. Location gorgeous. Told never to come back after waiting 30 mins to pay. After asking for over 15 minutes at the table and being ignored, we asked again and were told to go downstairs- fair enough. Waited for 15 minutes and then staff arrived and answered phone but ignored us. Asked if we could pay and told that I was rude and needed to be quiet. Another 10 minutes whilst he talked in phone. Asked if he could help us pay. He said that since we were on holiday we should wait and shut up. We explained that we were on business and live here. Told never welcome I. This restaurant again. We simply tried to pay. Very upsetting and can’t recommend because our clients will surely need to pay.

Very good and fine cook. even buffet is Italian all made home. very good quality of raw material (cheese, Italian ham, etc.)

Excellent food (I had pizza mozzarella di buffola) and very good weine from the opposite!
