Close to stay, we visited this restaurant three times for a family dinner, twice for a dinner. not very inspiring from the roadside, but there is a wonderful terrace with a beautiful view over the wavy landscape in the south. a very attentive...Waiter? owner) with a slightly sarcastic but entertaining humor offers all the service that can sometimes be somewhat slow, but is of a very high standard. the kitchen is local French cuisine with perhaps a bit of a limited selection, but it seems all fresh and very well cooked). Wednesday there is a very good vegetarian menu a rarity in france! where a series of fresh vegetables is carefully and interesting prepared for the main course. Otherwise, the lunch menu is very cheap with generous aids of delicious foods, which the calf is for example a large part of very delicate, lean meat. the sweet is more with the salad starters than with the netzen, which is typically French! the a la carte option, again a bit limited, but wonderful dishes. we are tired of the fillet cow with foie grass: both elements beautifully cooked, a real joy; and the confit de canard a very generous part has been an enormous escape, in a delicious sweet and acidic sauce. whisper a little disappointing dame blanche ok, but everyone could do it; speciality nougat ice cream not exciting at all. the weinliste is on the one hand still somewhat limited, but on the other hand well thought out, so that an excellent selection is available both locally and from completely frank. with a red meat dish perhaps try the 2011 syrah, which of sarrabelle, a domain on the D18 in direction gaillac. if they like it, they go with to sarrabelle for a really good tasting of a to us, anyway) surprising series of weep white rose fizz; dry and sweet white; some very interesting red). back to deux vallees good local cuisine for cheap trips in a pleasant environment with good service. will be happy again!

We had a couple of meals here during our stay in the area. The meals were delicious and well presented, loved the duck! On a nice day you can sit on the terrace and have a lovely view down the valley, ahh wish I was...back there. They also have a bar/cafe with internet available. Staff very friendly and welcoming.

Seems like awhile since I've come across a restaurant like this in France. The kind of place that you used to find more often. Great well prepared food made with good ingredients without any pointless pretension. The sort of food that France used to be...famous for. It was a total pleasure to eat here tonight. The terrace with wonderful views was just the icing on the cake. For the reviews that mentioned slow service I'm afraid I have to disagree. This is food served at the right speed with plenty of time in between for conversation, good wine and time to digest the food you've just eaten. I'm afraid we've all gotten too used to microwaves and McDonalds! I look forward to returning soon.

We were looking for a relaxed restaurant to finish off a very special family holiday. Grown ups wanted a good meal, but we had some little ones in tow so couldn't be too fancy. This place was a perfect balance. The outdoor terrace is charming...and the views stunning. The food was excellent (menu gourmande all round) and the menu enfants went down a storm too. As mentioned in other reviews the service is very slow so be prepared to make an evening of it.
