Haya's Place - Samal

Tonight. In my opinion, they have the best international cuisine in the city. The Biryani Rice was an explosion! The owner is also nice and friendly. Your food is Halal.

Tried their Chicken Biryani and Tuna Sambal via Foodpanda. I like the taste. The chicken is so tender. And the sambal is so tasty. Will try again next time.

Serves various Halal-style cuisine. Ordered the Beef, but the meat is sadly on the tough side. However their rice and Mee Goreng dishes are not bad. Price points are on the mid-point for Davao City. Tasty chicken dishes at a decent price point as well. Dining area is fairly spacious and can accommodate up to larger groups of 10-12. Amenities are serviceable but not particularly exceptional. Location is easy to find and accessible with parking nearby. If you're looking for a Halal-restaurant, this is decent mid-budget choice, although other locations might have better quality for beef, if you're searching for a beef dish.

I ordered via food panda. The mee goreng was described in the menu as being topped with shrimps. We ordered 2 servings. In each there was only 1 tiny shrimp.... Very disappointing. The schwarma had very little chicken inside. Bread was good. Cheesy fries, loaded with plasticy immitation sauce. In summary , quite expensive, a disappointment.
